Open Positions

Plant Cleaner

 

As a member of the team, you will be responsible for cleaning the plant and equipment at the end of each workday. Knowledge of proper sanitation methods is a plus, but training will be provided. We value a detail-oriented person who takes pride in their work. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. 

 

Hours: Monday-Friday, 2:30-5:30 p.m. (No weekends) 

Pay rate: $15/hr.

Meat Cutter

 

At Na*Kyrsie Meats, we specialize in whole-animal butchering. As a meat cutter, it’s important to have a thorough understanding of meat types, cuts, and preparation. Must be able to break down carcasses, portion and prepare meat for sale, and lift up to 50 lbs. Knowledge of proper food handling, weights and measures, and sanitation requirements is required. We value a team player who is willing to follow detailed instructions and is computer literate.

 

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (No weekends and paid holidays)

Pay rate: Based on years of experience

Sausage Maker

 

At Na*Kyrsie Meats, we take sausage making seriously. As a sausage maker, you will handle, cut, trim, and grind meat mixed with special ingredients according to our special recipes, and then stuff sausages into casings. You must be able to prepare and portion sausages for sale and lift up to 50 pounds. Knowledge of proper food handling, weights and measures, and sanitation requirements is required. We value a team player who is willing to follow detailed instructions and is computer literate.

 

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (No weekends and paid holidays)

Pay rate: Based on years of experience

Meat Wrapper/Apprentice

 

As a Meat Wrapper and Apprentice at Na*Kyrsie Meats, you will assist in various aspects of our daily operations, ensuring our products are properly prepared and presented to meet our high standards. Job duties will include weighing, wrapping, and labeling meat products, as well as assisting in daily production tasks such as sausage making and meat cutting. You will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and performing end-of-day cleanup. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

 

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. 

Pay rate: Based on years of experience
